Maintenance and Service

Maintenance and service

Because the Hydrostart system is very simple, maintenance can be done by the club’s winch technicians. Maintenance is limited to oil and filter changes of the diesel engine and the hydraulic system.

The Hydrostart is built using only standard, globally available components. Repairs can be done by service networks of the local suppliers. Spare parts are available from stock globally.

Maintenance and costs

Did you know that on conventional winches 50% of the operational cost are spend on cable repair and replacement?

Through research and extensive testing we have effectively reduced cable wear on Dyneema and Plasma cables.

Maintenance to the engine and hydraulic system is limited to periodic oil and filter replacements. The reliable guillotines are resistant to dirt and require no maintenance or regular checks.

CE and documentation

The Hydrostart Club2 and Club4 comply with CE requirements. The following documents will be included:

  • User manual.
  • Maintenance manual.
  • Maintenance schedule.
  • Complete package of assembly drawings.
  • Spare part list and specifications.
  • Checklist for daily inspection.
  • Training manual for winch drivers.
